It is with a heavy heart today that Matt and I have to announce that we will be closing Forever Bee at the end of May. We started Forever Bee 10 years ago and nurtured it into an amazing company and a thriving community. We could not have done it without you.
We want to thank everyone for helping us out earlier this year. It made a huge difference in our business and allowed us to pay some of our back bills and it also allowed us to keep serving you for a few extra months.
Due to a loss of sales of about 80% these past few months, the loss of most of our beehives this year and the inability to get more hives, we have decided to close down the business and exit with grace.
We have to humbly ask for your help again to help us close our business with dignity and grace. If you are at all in a financial position to help, please stock up on your honey supplies, get your mother’s day and other gifts from our store, let friends and family know. Remember, honey will never go bad.
Even though closing the business is a very hard decision, we would love to make it a good experience for everyone in our community. Here is how we are planning on making this a less painful experience:
You are welcome to stock up on all your favourite products until the end of May.
Our website will be open and all our products will be available until the end of May or until our products are sold out.
ALL orders will be delivered by the end of June. If some of your products are backordered, no worries, you will get it. Honeycomb is the only exception to this. We will be delivering the honeycomb as soon as we harvest it in the summer.
When you place an order, please make sure to include your email address and phone number so that we can keep in touch with you about your order.
We would love to hear from you. If you want to share your feelings about this announcement, please call, email or text us. We are a community and we want to support you through this as well.
If you have placed an order earlier this year and some of the products are BACKORDERED, don’t worry, we will get that to you asap. This is especially true for those who ordered soap, honeycomb and candles.
Our website will stay active for the next year so that you can keep accessing recipes, FAQ and other resources.
Thank you so much for the years of support. We love and appreciate you all. We will always value the love, support and kindness you have shown us and we will carry you in our hearts always.
