We have an amazing team and we do our work in an amazing facility. Forever Bee workshop is located in the Warner Warehouse Business Park in Okotoks, AB.

This is where we prepare all your goodies and all the creativity happens. Our staff have such great times here. We share our stories, we have fun and we all come up with some amazingly creative ideas together.

Our team includes:
Matt and Annanie - beekeepers, delivery drivers, owners, and all the other things that keep the company going

Kira - our business manager, Lethbridge deliveries and my right-hand person. She is also the person who takes such great care of our customers.

Lanice - is our warehouse supervisor and makes sure all products get made and out the door on time. All the honey bottling, candle-making, lip balm and body butter butter recipes are in their capable hands.

Ritzie - is our daughter and grew up in the business. She has run several markets for us (since she was 14), packages up all the shipments and deliveries, helps Lanice in the workshop and all other jobs we have for her. She can pick up the slack anywhere because she has done it all :)

Aunt Kathy - is our brilliant graphic designer. She creates all our images from scratch and pours her heart and soul into each picture. You might notice that she loves to add our grandkids, kids and staff into some of the images she creates :) We love all she does for us.

Heather - is our very amazing market person. When you visit our markets, you will find her there with a smile and ready to serve you. She has some much needed time off, but will be back in July to run our markets for us. We are so happy to have you back Heather.

Liquid Wildflower Honey is available during that very special time of the year when we start our harvest season. Anything can happen - the honey can be super dark with a unique caramel flavour or it can be completely clear and transparent with beautiful floral notes or it can be a the golden yellow we see advertised so often.

The Wildflower Honey is unique because we harvest this from fields where there is no spraying, no crops growing and the honey is never heated, filtered or treated with anything. It is just perfectly pure honey. We leave it completely up to nature to see what she will be giving to us this season.

Even throughout the season the honey flavour and colour can change though. As the wildflowers in the fields change from Dandelions to Lilacs to Apple blossoms to Goldenseal to Sunflowers, so does the colour, texture and taste of the honey change as well. It can be completely different from one week to the next. Sometimes we can even get really dark honey and very light honey in the same frame. What a treat!!!

We do not usually cream the wildflower honey because it is so unpredictable. With Clover honey we know that when we cream it it will be soft, white and never crystallize. With Wildflower honey we find that it is more often grainy and also very hard.

So, the best time to get your liquid honey is during harvest season when it is fresh and then do the creamed clover honey during the winter. Both are delicious, raw and unfiltered and so healthy for you :)

Every season we build new hive boxes to replace broken or rotten ones. This season we also had to rebuild hives that were destroyed by bears. Thanks so all our supporters on our GoFundMe page, we were able to rebuild all the hives we had lost. Thank you all so much.

Here is a video on what the building process looks like. It usually takes us about 4-6 weeks to build our hives for the season. We have to build the boxes, install the inner frame holder, paint the boxes, build the frames, insert the foundation and build the supers and honeycomb frames as well.

After years of being asked for an all-natural, beeswax-based, sunscreen, we finally have the perfect protection for you. Our sunscreen is 100% natural, contains essential oils and soothing all, natural oils and butters.

It is summer again in Canada and for most folks that means camping season, hiking, outdoor markets and BBQs. For a Canadian Apiary it means....HARVEST SEASON!!!

Every summer season we open up our website for PRE-ORDERS of our Wildflower Liquid Honey and Honeycomb. This tradition is always met with such enthusiasm and excitement. By opening op pre-orders it allows us to plan our harvesting season, invest in our bees early on and include you in the complete process :)

Just look at these beautiful wildflower fields where we harvest from. Our hives are used to pollinate organic farms. We are not near any sprayed fields and there are no GMO crops anywhere in sight. This keeps our bees happy and healthy and also helps the farmers get 60% higher crop yields. This is truly a win-win-win situation.

At Forever Bee we do not just use our bees to get as much honey out of them as possible. We are in a symbiotic relationship with our bees. We provide them with beautiful, organic farms where they get to feed on a variety of flowers, the bees in turn offer pollination to these organic farms which helps to increase crop yields by up to 60% and we then get to keep any excess honey and pollen which is pure, non-toxic and so healthy which we can then share with you.

Isn't that just the most beautiful relationship you can imagine with these amazing little creatures?

The bees pollinate plants when they go to collect nectar. The pollen gets stuck to their legs and when they fly from one flower to the next, the pollen gets distributed which then pollinates the plants. Bees generally practise flower loyalty which means that during a specific trip they will visit only the same types of flowers.

Once they are done collecting nectar and before they get back to the hive, they will push all the pollen that is stuck to them into little bags on their back legs. These are called corbiculae or pollen baskets. They carry this pollen back to the hives and use it as food.

Bee Pollen is so healthy. Did you know that it contains between 40 and 60% protein and without it the bees will not be able to grow? This is the only protein source that bees have since they do not eat other bugs. Bees are fed bee pollen in the form of bee bread during their first week of life. Without bee pollen the hive will die because the babies will not be able to grow. Bee pollen also contains over 90 other vitamins and minerals and all your amino acids required by the body. This is a super important part of a bees diet and that is why only the strongest hives get harvested for pollen and only for about 3 weeks out of the year.

Bee Pollen is not only healthy for bees but also for humans. It is great for:

- Relieves symptoms of seasonal allergies and asthma
- A boost to your digestive system with the help of naturally occurring enzymes
- A host of over 90 vitamins and minerals that are readily available and easily absorbed
